Hello, and welcome. We are unboxing my first 3D scanner, the Einstar 3D. Previously, I relied on photogrammetry, the process of taking a series of photos and importing them into specialized software to stitch and generate point clouds. Unfortunately, many 3D scanners on the market are either too expensive, which only established companies can afford, or too cheap and only give poor results.

The Einstar has so far given me impressive results as a budget scanner. I plan on using this scanner to create models for games or use them to reverse engineer parts if the need arises. Click the link below if you would like to check out the model via Sketchfab.
