Why choose Einstar 3D Scanner?

I bought the scanner einscan SE a while ago, I m very satisfied with it, very simple to use, I am a student in 3D, my work really improved so much since I bought it. I decided to trust shinning again when I swa the Einstar, I was surprised of the price compared of the market. I got it, it feels quality just when I got it in hands, it scans black objects, I scanned my face easily without hurting my eyes, and I am able to scan large object finally ^^ I can build tools by printing parts around standard products I bought that fits perfectly together because of the accuracy of the scan
I m definitively a big fan of shinning now. Really good products!
Got the Scanner, everything looking great , but when I attempted to use it, I couldn't. The software isn't compatible with my workstation, apparently ONLY works with Nvidia Graphics cards, when I bought it I was pretty sure that the my 12GB AMD card would do a great job, being the double the capacity of the recommended configuration. Now I realize that to use this I have to build another PC just for this, either I repurpose an older PC and work with the software close to the minimum required configuration, or I will have to invest in a recent Nvidia Card.
This issue should be clearer when I was shopping for scanners or it would be great that it worked with AMD Graphic cards as it is expected for every software nowadays....
Scanners work without problems. In the first week of anthropological research, 330 persons have been scanned with 2 scanners.
Fast and precise, for a good price
Still in the learning curve, but results are great. Better then expected, gathers even some of reflected, black and sometimes transparent surfaces. Easy to use, fast, captures tracking very fast and in random position. Havent tested markers yet, very good texture alignment feature. Software interface is clear, friendly, just could not find how to start new project without restarting app.. Might be just me not finding it, but if its there, developers - its well hidden. Overall, very happy.
